Only 10 more days until Valentine's Day :D
Moving on - today I cut out some more hearts to make a lacing activity for the kids. Ella's a bit too old for this kind of lacing game, although, she loves the kind where you lace clothes onto cardboard dolls (I love those too!). Harrison loves stringing things, so this activity was perfect for him. It's also a great way to introduce patterns and practice fine-motor skills.
It was EXTREMELY simple to make. All you need is some card stock (I love me some card stock, can't you tell??) and string. I cut out several heart shapes and then hole punched a couple holes in each one.
Depending on what type of string you use, you may need to wrap the ends with a piece of tape so it's easier to guide the string through each hole. If you cut enough hearts and use a long enough string, you'll have yourself a nice little Valentine's Day decoration!
Tomorrow's agenda contains some baking - be sure to stop by (the blog - not our house because I guarantee there will be no left-overs)!
Thanks for reading :D
