And now here we are on day 8 of the countdown. Today I packed up the kids and took them to a kids' Christmas party at Grandma's workplace. Harrison was pretty excited to see his big cousin Riley there.
Our first stop at the party was to see Santa. Unfortunately, Ella was not going near him with a 10 foot pole, and Harrison decided (at the last minute )he wasn't as brave as he thought he was. Benjamin had no hesitation about sitting with Santa.
While the Santa pictures were taking place, Ella and Uncle Chris found a picture to colour. It turns out Uncle Chris isn't half-bad at colouring!
We made our way to the cafeteria for some snacks and crafts. Of course, my kids sat down in front of the snacks first.
Cousin Carter was happy to find the snacks too! LOL.
Benjamin got to hang out with Grandma while I took the kids to do some crafts and colouring.
Both Ella and Harry were excited about the crafts that were set up. They had foam stickers you could use to create different characters, and there was a snowflake making station. I felt pretty talented when they were both amazed with the snowflakes I made.
After two hours of Santa, snacks and crafts we piled back into the van. The kids had a great time!
